
Simon the Pharisee's house
This chapel has been built later the period the friars Tommaso and Cherubino designed the Jerusalem of Tuscany, by the way it contains one of the best statuary group of terracotta dated back to the half of XVI century.
This scene, even if it isn't part of the Passion of Christ, represent the house of Simone Fariseo where Jesus stop and make Simone Fariseo repent of his sins. Is possibile to admire in the statuary group a woman sinner who bathe with her tears the feet of Jesus and dry with her hairs.
